Research

Research in the Webb group is highly interdisciplinary. We exploit techniques from both synthetic chemistry and molecular biology to investigate protein function, modification and regulation. Recent highlights have included the development of new chemical methodology to generate dehydroalanine residues in peptides and proteins and the elucidation of the structure of the PanDZ regulatory complex from Escherichia coli.
